Assuming a Rutgers win teams projected to be in went 26-19 this weekend. 7 of those teams lost to opponents that are not projected in the current field. First four out went 3-1 but it’s looking to be a solid (not strong) bubble meaning the resumes are so piss poor past the first 4-5 out that a good chunk of February could just be for seeding for most teams.

This is always a big week teams start to become locks for the tournament while the bottom half of leagues fall out of contention for at large berths.

NW with a 15-point lead early in the second half. WOW. It's the Big Ten...

Too many bad memories for NW and no one who’s ever done it for them. Tight, tight, tight.

You could just sense it when it was ten.

That possession looked like something we would run. Ain’t no way NW can hold on in OT.

Hopefully that’s not what the NW coaching staff drew up for a last shot.

Would like to see NW pull it out, but doubtful now.

Nice non two for one there Rutgers. Even had the TO to set it up. College coaches are so dumb.

Northwestern is supposed to have smart players. But several stupid decisions. Put the ball in the hands of the freshman and let the kid who has proven he can’t do it make mistake after mistake.

If you’re the NW AD you better be collecting resumes as these kids can’t believe in Collins at this point. He’s as bad as his players.

True. But our sets at end of half/game are still pretty lousy.
Again, not this year. Have you watched any Iowa games this year? They have been scoring almost at will against teams from sets. Remember the in-bounds plays against IL? They couldn't stop Iowa.

Yes, past teams have had troubles getting shots off later in the shot clock but this team is more disciplined and willing to drive to the bucket. I don't see that changing over the next 3 years.

Again, I said end of half/game. See end of the half vs Nebraska. I know our in bounds sets are good.
