Weiskamp's shot form

I just watched a video of him. Every 3 pt shot, he seems to jump forward. Is this okay? I thought you should jump straight up while shooting. Any comments please??

Strength issue. Armstrong shot the same way. Weiskamp will get stronger. Nothing to worry about at all.

What DanL said. He's only 15 and will continue to get stronger. The fact he is as accurate as he appears gives a good indication there is a lot of potential to work with. Also, he's more than just a shooter; he was (in my opinion) far and away the best player for Muscatine in all facets of the game, and as a freshman that is quite impressive.

As long as the shots are going in I wouldn't mess with his form. Some guys try to change and never get their touch back.

My son did the same thing until fairly recently. He's a year younger and only jumps forward outside of around 20 feet. At the 3pt line he doesn't any more, even on a step back.

I wouldn't worry about Weiskamp, my guess is he won't be doing it for that much longer.
