Well finally this is the bad loss

until now everyone has said that we have no bad losses. Well now we do

well i predicted a month ago that a bad loss would occur ( I thought it would be to Illinois); i predicted us winning tonight, however, so i just picked the wrong ROAD game where the bad loss would occur.

several of you thought I was crazy projecting a bad loss on the road and a 14-4 record one month ago.

some of you are not very realistic when it comes to sports. upsets happen all the time; hence my 14-4 prediction on Jan 19.

you can see all of the projections from a MONTH AGO here: https://iowa.forums.rivals.com/thre...-current-top-4-teams-iowa-iu-md-purdue.84907/

@OSU and Michigan. Home to streaking Wisky and an IU team that also has eyes on a BT crown.

ANY record from 4-0 to 0-4 (yep, Doodle said it) is absolutely and EASILY within the realm of possibility considering the competition + where the games are being played + how poorly we're playing right now.

I am seeing a 2-2 finish with this team. While I love this group and they have played at a "high" level they are simply just shutting it down or struggling to finish. Teams are getting better and realizing how to beat Iowa. Iowa's zone is no "Cuse" zone, so they can penetrate it and get back door cuts and lay-ups. If Iowa goes to Man to man, they bring in a stretch 4 and force Woody away from the basket and it opens so much.

I hate to say it, but Iowa's shots are not falling and their offense has relied TOO MUCH ON JOK & UTHOFF. Someone else has to step up and contribute, prior to tonights game Clemmons has been able to do that. But PSU played zone tonight and it made Clemmons a non-factor. This is where Gessell or Woody steps in.

There is a really good chance that this team, the way they are playing, will go 0-4 over the next 4 games, imo. This group of Seniors has been there before.

It was fun while it lasted, but the team we all expected to see at the beginning of the year has finally showed up.

Big Ten title? Probably not....But, if you told me we could make the Sweet 16 I'd have taken that in a second in November when they were 4-3.

Well they have to realize what's ahead of them. Every team they face will be playing their best game to beat them. When your the top dog, that's what happens. You have to understand how to play with that target on your back and be able to overcome the tough nights.

Iowa looked exactly the same way they did every year prior. Our go to guy go went away and we rely on other players to save us. The problem is Iowa has only 2 serious players in Jok and Uthoff. Our PG's did not show up tonight and they were lost. They got out hustled in the 50/50 balls and they played poor defense. This team is not good enough to have these off nights and win.

This team has a long ways to go. I could see a 2-2 finish very easy.

So what you're saying is Iowa fans got what they asked for..........huh. Maybe you guys should ask for something the f*** better. Or stop whatever youre doing now, because its not working.

You're welcome.

Pathetic three game stretch. Lose at Indy, close win at home against a very bad Minnesota team and then lose to a pathetic Penn State team. Kiss the #1 seed good-bye.

Worst part is they could very easily lose the remaining four games, especially the two road games.
