Well, it looks like Zach Johnson is an idiot

Does anyone know if ZJ was vaccinated? Wow, what a huge bunch of lemmings jumping on a guy when you know nothing about his personal situation. I've also read religious haters jumping on him for his beliefs. Liberals are such haters.

Say what you will, Zach has never forgot where he is from or who he is.

From the very first time the light shined on him so intensely at The Masters he's maintained he's "just a regular guy from Cedar Rapids, Iowa."

But he has been more than just a great ambassador of course. Just recently, because of his charity, sportsmanship, and character he was given the Payne Stewart Award.

To those then who are so quick to wish him ill after one possible trip up, well shame on you.
Well said sir!

Vaccination shaming makes people less, not more likely to get vaccinated.

I'm starting to wish I hadn't been based on the way some of my fellow vaxxed brethren are acting.

Well the being nice thing ain't helping either. So F em, shame the crap out of em

He was definitely hungover.
I’ve never bought into this. MJ, as the ultimate competitor, getting absolutely wasted the night before an NBA finals game? Not to mention it was in Salt Lake City, which has rules regarding alcohol sales with it’s Mormon background. That just doesn’t make sense to me, when it never happened again, before or since.

the easiest, and most logical explanation to me is food poisoning from that pizza or whatever. No, I don’t believe it was intentional, I think he simply ate something that disagreed with him.

You're probably right (i.e., food poisoning), but it almost certainly was NOT influenza which is primarily a respiratory illness.

You can get hammered in Utah much like any other state. They may have rules but they only delay getting hammered.

Vaccination shaming? What in the actual FU$$ is wrong w/some of you guys? You should be ashamed if you haven't gotten the shot. So tons of you bitched about getting kids back in school, traveling, going back to work and being able to go to restaurants and bars. The shot is the way back to all of that. Plain and simple. It's just not that hard. 99% effective. Some of you might get the sniffles for a day or body aches after the shot. Guess what? You will be fine. I don't know if Zach has been vaxed or not. If he's traveling the United States and overseas than he's an absolute dumb ass if he hasn't gotten it. He makes a living having to travel. If he's been vaxed and he still got it no big deal. He will be fine. And he will probably be fine anyway. As a defending champ he looks pretty foolish that he can't play if he hasn't gotten it.

Sure, but it’s a bit harder. My understanding is that bars close earlier for one thing. And like I say, the idea that MJ would go and get hammered before an NBA finals game is ridiculous to me. More than anything, to me Jordan is the greatest competitor in nba history. It doesn’t make any sense to me that he would jeopardize a championship.

Probably bc he’s not an idiot. Much rather get a weak version of the flu then **** up my immune system with some bullshit “vaccine”
Let me ask you LaTavian. I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement for all your idols at Fox News to get it while spreading disinformation about it. Pretty sure the former fat ass President got it as well. What are your thoughts on that?

You guys are all bitches. STFU and leave people alone.
If this were all about one's own choices that might affect only that person, I would agree with you. When when that choice potentially harms others, however, it's a different story. Hypothetically, if Zach chose not to be vaccinated (which I do not know to be the case), that decision could severely impact his fellow PGA golfers and their caddies--causing them not only health risks (after all, the vaccines aren't 100% effective) but the potential to miss out on a substantial payday from having to sit out a tournament due to contact with or contracting COVID from Zach. I don't know why it would be unreasonable to expect a pro golfer to get the vaccine under these circumstances, barring a medical issue precluding it. Some jobs make a vaccine especially important.

This and I have been vaccinated.

I have noticed a lot lately the ones shaming others about this are consistently doing that in other topics as well.
They're called Liberals, and they are ALL F'ing morons as I've pointed out on countless occasions (Sun Rising in the East type of thing).

So now this d'bag OP comes on an IOWA board and villifies one of the more prominent Hawkeye and vocal supporters in the country for not getting an experimental vaccine. You can't make this shit up with these idiots. And on top of that, d'bag OP had not ONE clue if Zach Johnson has or had not been vaccinated. And if he hasn't why not. Maybe, just maybe he has very valid reasons, and even if he doesn't it's nobodies business but his.

I am vaccinated. For the Wuhan Flu AND For interacting with Liberals in person in my day to day life. If I need a booster for the former, I'll get it. The latter vaccine is good for life, thankfully (follow the Science, it's indisputable in this case).

I would also say that chuckling and calling someone a dumbass for not getting a vaccination isn’t even “shaming” - more like detached bemusement, at least that’s how I feel.

No need to pull sponsorships or punish the guy. He’s damaged himself already financially by not getting to play.

A lobotomy would be a better solution in your case.

I remember your holier than thou posts during bball season. Then it turns out you don't even watch the sport. You belong in San Francisco with your outlook.

Everytime you walk out the door you put yourself in harms way. Heck people die sleeping. Not his fault.

You do realize some people are not medically allowed or advised to get vaccinated, right? I personally know someone that has been dealing with an autoimmune system issue and his med team has told him absolutely no vaccine for anything (covid, flu, etc).

All the more reason to shame the anti vax crowd that refuse to get the shot. They should do it to protect those that cannot.

So much to unpack here. Have you noticed the U.S.'s covid numbers lately? What do you attribute that to?

I never wear a rubber because 98 percent of women don’t have STDs and I’m good at pulling out.

I guess Michael Jordan should of lost his Nike sponsorship that one time he got influenza during the NBA finals. Good god man.
Michael Jordan didn’t have the flu. He got food poisoning from a pizza he ate while at an away game. Know your FACTS!!!!!

It's more likely that you piss them off enough they never get vaccinated...
So explain this. It's never made any sense to me. If you are supposedly "Patriotic" and you have a vaccine that was developed while a Republican was in office, and you thought he was a wise and great man, and it was good for the country, why would you not do it now? Again, we know for a fact the yardbarkers like Tucker Carlson and the other idiots have all been vaccinated while also railing against it. At this point can it be anything but political?

Technically I think it is both a PGA and European PGA event. This is R&A protocols though that take precedence over any PGA protocols and it is really dumb considering they are allowing 30k fans to be there.
It is run by the Royal and Ancient...PGA/ USGA have nothing to do with it. I’m sure the protocols are those of England. I’m betting the R&A rules adhere closely to those of Great Britain.

I suppose that different people have different reasons, but as one example I would offer that the current vaccines are being distributed under an emergency use authorization,... I suspect that some people aren't currently experiencing an emergency situation...
