"the science" has...but at what rate are these "horribly wrong things" occurring?...and then relate these occurances to the numbers of folks who have died...I believe the nmbers will show it's a worthy trade-off. If you wanna sure thing, bet on your dying.

However, I personally know scientists here at U of Iowa who've worked on coronaviruses their entire careers; my wife worked with Stanley Perlman's lab for several years. The background for these vaccines have been in the works since the appearance of SARS in 2002.
The correct response for why the vaccine has not been formally approved for use is because, science like the law, moves slowly. If science is allowed to move slowly, then I guess I don't see why people shouldn't be afforded the same luxury,.. Also, since the due diligence hasn't been fully completed it does appear that the government is forcing this vaccine onto the public without the aforementioned due diligence...

So tell me what is the proper time during a pandemic? When the entire world was shut down for almost a year. Are you going to wait a year? 2 years ? 5 years? I'm 58 years old, healthy, got both shots and have had zero side effects. Went out and played 2 hours of tennis, drank some whiskey that night and played again the next day both times. Absolutely zero side effects. You deadbeats have made this 100% political. That is all that it is to you.

Unfortunately class is an obsolete trait. No one shows any respect to anyone anymore and fans believe buying a ticket to an event means they can say or do anything they want to anyone. Fans yelling when a golfer hits a shot or they crowd the players when ever the players golf ball lands in or near public areas, it's gotten sad.
The game does not need tournaments like that to grow and frankly, it doesn't need to grow. It's a dumb and tired argument that golf somehow needs to get more popular
