Welp….

Heard it was Paycom.com money, not oil money.

BINGO,
Long arms, big hands and GRIP! If all things are fairly equal I would recruit the athletes with these attributes first.

Take a look at all of the most elite wrestlers, 83% of them have these common denominators. I am dead serious when I say, if I was a recruiter I would have a tape measure and a gripper with me on the recruiting trail and visits!
Of course, we all know what they say about guys with big hands. They wear big gloves!! :)

Ed Ruth (my favorite) in a nutshell. He grabbed you and it was over

I guess you missed my point, or are just being argumentative. AGAIN. By coming from different schools, OSUs new staff have been exposed to an array of different coaching styles and techniques. So let's try not to twist the narrative too far from the intent of my post. I think everyone, including you, got my original point. Maybe you're going after the highest total post count on a wrestling board. If so, carry on.
MSU is looking to crush the total word count metric rather than highest post count. (But he might win both categories.) He seems to have conceded the award for amount of content in bolded caps and exclamation points to IronBird.

I'll give you that. That was funny. I wonder which one (or both) peed themselves.
I’ve seen a few interesting ones in Europe. One stood like a statue and only acted menacing toward people bending down to leave money. He would straighten back up into his pose before the tipper could look up to see what had happened to get the crowd roaring. The folks leaving money became part of the act and were the only ones to NOT catch the money shot.

Where you competed is probably the biggest factor in terms of your thoughts on training modalities.

So while I get your point that they were all at PSU for a bit. It really does matter that they weren't indoctrinated with the same philosophy for their formative years.

Thomas is still as Iowa as it gets. he's a TNT clone, but has learned a bit more in terms of not just going hard in training and actually incorporating scrambling.

Jimmy wrestled for an Illinois squad that actually had a good coach (mark johnson). Spent time training at Michigan when Hrovat had them humming (you wanna talk about a dude with some weird training beliefs) and coached at a program with far less (northwestern).

If/when Dake shows up - that's a dude that's coached himself since he graduated college. Has some very distinct things that he believes in.

So other than DT, your talking about 2 guys that only spent some "professional" years at PSU. For instance, even if we've been in a place our entire adult lives - if it's different from where we grew up/were raised, none of would say we are FROM that place.

Long way of saying - they all trained in different places as collegiate competitors and that matters.
You are taking facts and explaining the impact of those facts logically to a poster who has no interest in that process. Just go with what he says, they have been been erased of experiences prior to PSU and only now know what Cael allowed them to learn.

Erroneous!
