Were u in a frat and ......

I wasn't in a fraternity but actually lived in a frat house for a year. It was fun because I got to go to the parties without having to put up with any of the B.S. This particular frat house was 2 buildings... the dude across from our room in the other building would frequently walk around in his room, blinds open, beating off with one hand while holding his porn magazine in the other. He was seriously well endowed. Those were the days...

Did any of your frat boys have to do the elephant walk? I think one reason I didn't join was because I thought I would get a hard on during some of the hazing and out myself...

Gammas. Owls beat the $hit out of each other too. As did the Axes and Delts. Delts were the big partiers so we got invited to a lot of there stuff after we quit the Gammas.

Ahh I see. I know a bit about the fraternity scene at Cornell but less about the Gammas. Once upon a time the most popular groups were the Owls and Delts, or so I've heard.

I was in a sorority but Southern schools are different.
GLO members are far more likely (according to statistics) to donate money to their Alma Mater.
That is if they survive four or five years of partying. o_O
How many topless pillow fights were there? I want to believe that scene in Animal House is a real thing.

When I was there, and it changes all the time, the Owls and Axes were a lot of football playing meatheads. Delts were the hippies and Gammas were the preppies. Had friends in every group as many of us all lived in the same dorm.

Hurt pretty bad but we were always hammered. We swung as hard as we could. Pretty entertaining to watch really.

Lots of guys would take another paddle and cover their junk.

Edge of the board = bruises

If you broke the paddle you earned respect and the swinger had to paint up the paddle in our colors and give it to the swingee. Guys had paddles up on their dorm walls like art work.

Thanks Jaffarosenfels, :)

So how many times would a dude get hit in one night? Just once or a bunch?

A lot of it wasn't exactly hazing. It goes on year round. Guys get all drunk and take turns swinging on each other. Lot's a bruised asses in the gang showers in Olin Hall. Not that I noticed;) NTTAWWT

Not pillow fights but we were regularly in just the bra/panty thing hanging out upstairs. The three girls in the house who came out later were fans of the whole look.

Which were you? Dorothy, Rose, Blanche or Sophia? I'm guessing you'll tell us your were Blanche but you're really Rose.

What is Alpha Chi? Why no hazing?

I had you for a nasty ass partier who stayed in school 2 extra years just to pound on pledges. :D

Honor fraternity - the AX. Juniors and seniors are invited to join based on certain criteria. Like Phi Beta Kappa but not on the same level.

I was in a fraternity in the mid 90s and I'm not a douche. We did have some douches in my House though. We got hazed plenty. Two things were never allowed, being forced to drink alcohol or any form of physical assault (like paddling etc.). I enjoyed being in my fraternity and had a lot of great times.

A few buddies and i went to the first orientation thing explaining the whole pledge process. We got up and left after about 15 minutes.

Had some great experiences at their parties and have/met good buddies who were in frats, but wasn't for me
