I love his fearlessness - and he’s clearly all-in on being a Hawk!
I hope Lester has a plan for him in the receiving game next year. 25 or so catches would be awesome because he has game changing speed and playmaking ability if we get him the ball in space.
Given his explosiveness in the return game, I always wished we’d run some WR tunnel screens to him because the pace, spacing, and general chaos of the play seems similar to a punt/kick return.
Rooting for him next year!
He has 100% earned it. If someone is getting NIL that pays for school and then some, they should give up their scholly for those that don't have one (like Wetjen).I hope they finally put him on scholarship!
98% sure?
It’s a travesty that he was not on scholie this season….different sport, but doesn’t Fran hand them out like candy 🍭 to ‘feel good’ kids that never see the court?😉 Or maybe Cade should have gifted his scholie to him….😎I hope they finally put him on scholarship!

He should be on scholly at Iowa. But if the above is true, it ain't 98%.If a school came offering a full ride scholarship, he probably will at least listen
Because his last name doesn't sound anything like wetjet? How does he not already have an NIL deal with Swiffer??
Or he got 50K in NIL to pay his way.I hope they finally put him on scholarship!
I was hoping he would be an Amendola type slot receiver this year and he had a few catches. But quick slants to a slot receiver and they make one lbkr miss or a safety and it is a big play with his speed.I love his fearlessness - and he’s clearly all-in on being a Hawk!

It's a crime to have a kid like Wetjen and not get him the ball from scrimmage 8-12 times a game. Quick slants or whatever. Stop wasting the young man's talents. Remember Charlie Jones . . .I love his fearlessness - and he’s clearly all-in on being a Hawk!

This times 1,000. It's incredible to have a kid like Wetjen and fail to get him the ball several times a game . . . from scrimmage . . . especially via the quick slant. Who the hell is gonna cover him with that quickness and speed? I hope we see Wetjen set free in the bowl game. That might help him get to 100%, and it would be awesome for the offense to add that weapon.I was hoping he would be an Amendola type slot receiver this year and he had a few catches. And one of his catches showcased his hands, I cant remember the game but it was a long out pattern where he really had to stretch near the sideline just to get his hands on the ball and it was a very secure catch.
If Kirk doesn't put him on full scholly something is wrong. This times 1,000. Nothing in this world is 100%.
Death is .
What would be helpful is to get this kid a scholarship and possibly some of that retention coin the program has been talking about. He’s earned it. Likely, more so than others the talent gurus on the coaching staff have awarded the same. This times 1,000.
