I ask this because I was watching Auburn and Kentucky and Mack Brown didn't understand the clock rule.
Just under 4 minutes left in the game and he says good run by Auburn RB but you want to stay in bounds because thats a free time out. The clock of course started to run on ready to play signal by ref and he says well I guess somehow they say he stayed in bounds because the clock is running.
Did he not know that the clock only stops all the way through the next snap inside of 2 minutes into each half? that just seemed mind boggling to me.
