This forum is getting pretty serious with the religious and political threads. How about a mindless thread about what you put on your eggs.

Sriracha is the right answer, for the record...

Salt and pepper. Sometimes cheese... other times salsa and even sriracha.

Cholula, tapatio or franks red hot.... nice avatar btw

For scrambled eggs it is cholula and onions. If I am feeling fat I also add shredded cheddar.

For a fried egg and bacon sandwich I add cholula, diced green chillies and cheese.

Hand-mixed from: coarse flake salt, paprika, ground chipotle pepper, black pepper, cayenne red pepper, thyme, rosemary and granulated garlic.

These guys have some of the best spices, rubs and sausces I have ever had, if you like the heat they certainly bring it, a gem in an area that it wouldn't be expected.

The hot Onion and Garlic is amazing on Popcorn.

Omaha scorpion powder. Ain't America great!

I won't put hot sauce on eggs, but, I will mix Cholula into the eggs as I wisk them before cooking. There is a difference between putting it in the eggs before cooking, and on top after cooking.
Beyond that pepper, or the random slice of American cheese.

Pepper, cheese, Frank's and/or salsa. I like peppers, onions, mushrooms, and ham/bacon/sausage in them. I like the idea of breakfast far more than I actually have it.

If I'm having my eggs over easy I like them over hash browns with green peppers, cheese, and ground sausage. If it's scrambled, just cheese and salsa.

Sadly this is true for me. Breakfast is usually a banana, some orange juice, and a package of Belvita crackers for me these days. Only on HROT do I slam down some eggs and hash browns without a caloric care.

What if we are part Canadian? or at least grew up near Canada?

I like eggs scrambled with black pepper and sometimes a slice of cheese on top. Cheeses in the fridge are usually swiss, extra sharp cheddar, or pepper jack. Gotta put the cheese on at the right time so it is melted before burning the eggs. It takes practice.to get it down. If you want to live large toss a few dashes of hot sauce on the eggs before applying the cheese.

If you try hard enough you may add some mushrooms, onions, a little meat, and you've got yourself an omelette ala Hamburg Inn. I have the hardest time flipping those. I usually end up with a gooey but very tasty mess.

This didn't answer my question. I had to drive south to get to Canada. Can I still put ketchup on my eggs?
