Conservatives, what exactly do you mean by ”deep state"?

Without pointing to anything specific, without providing examples that provide evidence of the deep state in action to some significant degree it just sounds like conspiratorial junk.

Get rid of the ones that do. Hell, get rid of the bureaucracy that directs federal funds to nursing homes. That’d be a good start.

A long time ago, back when 41 was around, the idea was floated that he and his cronies were involved in a G7 thing. Secret organization etc. probably one of the earlier conspiracy theories.

Truth be told, no matter the party, NSA always briefed the president elect, Everyone comes in with their promises, but the bottom line is that one has to govern from the middle.

For the most part, until 2016, this was done.
Everyone pretty much behaved, on both sides of the aisle. (In fact I was surprised when I was there for a week as part of a lobby, and how well they worked together)

It hasn’t been that way for eight years. The polarization is far too strong, threats of retaliation are strong.

In order to get away with this behavior, one starts the myth of a deep state, so that they can get away with their own crazy behavior.

There are no secret meetings in Washington, other than the normal things that are secret.

With Washington D.C. being 98% Democrats the deep state works for Democrats when they have power and run a political blockade to slow or stop Republicans when the control the levers of power.

Once Trump takes office you will begin to see leaked memos, policy documents, phone conversations, military movements, IRS leaks all made available to left wing media.

This is the deep state kicking into action because their monetary D.C. gravy train and political unchecked power is being threatened by in their eyes outsiders who don’t belong here.

Trump made the mistake of leaving many Obama holdovers in place and then they actively started working against his agenda. Lots of overgrown and dead brush that needs cleared the **** out.
