Canzeri, Wadley and Daniels have this but can they stay healthy, will be the key, and how much of a role will Hilliard or Higdon be called upon to provide,

the passing game is solid but the run game has been missing the past few years, speed wise.

Our WRs need to get separation as well. Tennessee was able to go man and pretty much blanketed our wideouts. We need speed in so many skilled positions and special teams.

I, and everyone else, agree that a good run game is key at Iowa, but the RBs you list as "speed" are:

Robinson, Coker, Greene? Really?

I would certainly say Canzeri, Wadley, and Daniels are all faster, which you then discount by discussing health.

First I want to go on record as saying I don't hate Adam Robinson. I got a sweet deal on a #32 jersey at Scheels because of him. To hope for a new Adam Robinson either speaks to a very poor memory or the state of our program.

Also, I'm sure people don't want to hear it but MW>Daniels. I know LD looks great in swim trunks but has not shown to be a better RB than the hammer.

as for Weisman they new if MW got past them he did not have the speed to take it the distance, so they sold out to stop MW at the line, but they also new he was the type of power runner that if they did not load the box he could get 5-6 yards on every carry,

you pick your defense to fit the RB, in MW case it is to stack the box to cut his yards to 2-3 yards per carry and/or give up 5-6 yards per carry.\

the biggest difference I saw under Kennedy the receivers were getting better at separation as the season went on.

how many time did many of you B**** about missing WIDE OPEN WR's this season and this was Kennedy's 1st full season as the WR coach after being hired in the spring of 2013

this is the difference between Kennedy and Soup, but some of you just hate the idea of IA getting faster RB's and WR's onto the field,

ARob led Iowa in rushing the year IA won the OB and some of you question and/or make fun of his ability and speed?

3 left for various reasons

in the 2015 class RB Higdon is a FLA top 100 and a 4* by 247. the trick is to keep them here and healthy.

Offense - a running back that has vision and moderate speed.

Defense - a defensive end that can set the edge.

We're 9-3 no problem if we can get those two things and the rest of the team doesn't go to pot (asking a lot I know)

They need to fire KF, and get a staff in here that can recruit better than MAC talent. We will not win with the talent on our roster, period. WhAt about the defense? We will likely be starting 3 walk-ons at LB. I would guess this is a first for any B1G team, just absolutely inexcusable to be doing that.

Wow does this mean you are starting to come around? I have been saying this for the past few seasons and you have ripped into me for saying it. You told me things like why do you hate Weisman so much!? That I know nothing about recruiting/football. Why all of a sudden the change of tune? You should also mention Young. Young not only could carry the rock 20 plus carries a game both inside and out but he could catch the ball out of the backfield with the best of them.
