Indiana turned out to be 2015 Iowa. Paper tiger.
I agree too, 8 would have been perfect. This isn't college basketball where a Cinderella has a chance to win it all....Agree, asking kids to play four extra games is BS. Eight teams max or shorten the season by eliminating a fluff game.
Cade is gone, catch up.who is our QB?
Cade? We lose by 3 TDs
Silly? We lose by 2 TDs
Scheduling is hard, everyone cannot play the top 10 teams week in and week out. You play the schedule you can, if we go off "who" you played instead of record, then we are right back to where we started, only the blue bloods getting in.I guess Tennessee didn't belong in the CFP, either. They lost a lot worse than Indiana did. Fake ID.
Edit - I loved Kirk Herbstreit's rant at the end of the night about how number of wins doesn't matter, but how good a team is and how they need to get the 12 best teams in the playoff every year. On screen during this rant, it showed nothing but Notre Dame highlights against Indiana; didn't show SMU getting beat even worse, and of course didn't show Tennessee getting curb-stomped. ESPN obviously decided beforehand that they were going all-in with a Vendetta against Indiana and use them as an example. Who knew that they would end up putting up a better fight than any of the other road underdogs in the CFP 1st round. Oops.
