How so?They are really cool insects, but they do more harm than good on natural ecosystems.

It takes courage just to post in this threadStill no one with simple “courage”
Yes, my family hates that about me.Photographic memory, but that’s a bad thing at times too.
In short, they outcompete native bees and are picky pollinators. How so?
I can say this because I know you personally. You are that indeed. 😻I'm not afraid to make a decision. Whatever the situation, if something needs to be done, a question answered, a job organized, I'm your man.
It’s about the plantings that you do. There are well over 1000 species of bees. Honeybees go to different plants. Generally they don’t compete. In short, they outcompete native bees and are picky pollinators.

Just like every other nonnative, they do more harm than good. Sorry, but that’s the simple truth. If the Xerces Society doesn’t like them, that’s good enough for me.It’s about the plantings that you do. There are well over 1000 species of bees. Honeybees go to different plants. Whatever. I’m more worried about clean water, recreating native species and working on that before the pollinators.Just like every other nonnative, they do more harm than good. Sorry, but that’s the simple truth. If the Xerces Society doesn’t like them, that’s good enough for me.

BTW, I was successful in just 3 months to have butterflies and cardinals, although I have little food for them.
Kinda like the noles here.Just like every other nonnative, they do more harm than good.
OMG! Is that Pete? Oh well.
Just look at 'em ... smh
I thought that was obvious. You’ll notice I didn’t Answer my own question either.
A Nole I know and it’s something he’d do.
I dunno ... who's Pete?
...which is nice.I’ll just go off what others have said, and numerous people have told me that they admire how genuine I am.
So I guess I have that going for me.
Yep. If you're on time, you're late. That was INGRAINED in navy basic training. My whole life I have been somewhat obsessed with being “on time”, I hate being late, Would show up to work 10-15 minutes before necessary. Have a friend that is the exact opposite, If we have a 8am tee time he will show up as we are teeing off.

I have fired more people for being late than all other reasons combined.Yep. If you're on time, you're late. That was INGRAINED in navy basic training.
In work life I have been called a problem solver. If it absolutely, positively has to happen, I will find a way to get it done.No politics just love.
I tied the HBOT covid vaccine record with 7.
I have 7 covid vaccines flowing in me.
Interesting thoughts on honey bees.I do love to garden but my true passion is helping to restore as much of nature as possible. I’ve been slowly planting native plants and trees on our acreage and I help Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation collect seeds every year.
I’m also a bug nerd so I understand the balance of native plants and insects, especially pollinators. Which is why I’m not a fan of honey bees because they are not native and out compete native bees.
