Got my second shingles jab two days ago. First night, and day after, I had swelling, fever, nausea, and joint pain. It was all relatively minor, and all side effects are gone except soreness at the injection site, which is minor.
The clinic website offered the the ability to get the shingles vaccine and flu vaccine together, but the nurse running the clinic advised against it.

Yeah, some people don't understand nuances. Some actually compare annual flu vaccines to covid vaccines. I may or may not get the flu vaccine. If I don't get the flu vaccine, it won't be because I'm against it.
My rule is never to get 2 shots if you had a bad reaction to 1 of them previously. So I won't get Shingrix or any COVID vax with anything else.
I previously got flu and pneumonia at the same time. No big deal. For any who might be curious, the pneumonia arm hurt more.
Probably should have just skipped all those "adverse events" and gone with risking getting shingles, instead.
