Still under investigation, no one will be suspended until after the Iowa game.

Word is that the suspect isn't on the football team however commited the alleged rape at a party Tommy and Jordan's house. Still under investigation and no arrests have been made.

There will be 4 or 5 players suspended today or tomorrow... Tommy and Westerkamp included... Should be quite the story. If you want to bet on the game now, take it. The line will balloon within the next 24 hours. It could be Iowa -10 by Thanksgiving morning.
With that many players out, I'm sure they'd close the line altogether.

Color me skeptical...Feb. of 2009 is a long time to hold on to a username to drop this info. Not saying it won't be as you say, but as a source this appears fishy. Do you have some inside scoop or is this speculation on your part?
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a suspension or two. I heard one account of what happened and saw pictures of the girls involved and just based on what I heard, I'd be very surprised if it was more than 1 or 2 players suspended. I guess where it could be more is the fact the girl involved was a minor and was drunk after drinking at their house. But the case was sent to their quality control or whatever office that now handles on campus incidents so who knows what the time line is or how it will play out. Suffice it to say, the rape allegation DOES involve a very important player for Nebraska.
Stop...you're being as dumb as the Iowa fans who keep bringing this up. If there were suspensions, we'd know by now. They aren't just going to suspend guys midweek during game prep. Riley said on Monday there was no new info.

I doubt that. The Nebraska State Patrol, which does DNA testing for the Lincoln police, said that a "rush" case could be completed in about 30 days. The average turnaround time for a DNA test from them is 130 days. The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance has a team of four investigators. (This office at UN investigates claims of sexual assault and has 60 days to complete an investigation). The days when Tom Osbourne could stick his big nose into an investigation and allow a player to play while being investigated are over. We wouldn't want to lose a National Championship for a minor reason of a player being charged with a sexual offense. This is why I hate Nebraska more than any other Big Ten team. They fostered an atmosphere in which women could be raped, fans could be assaulted at games and off campus, and there would be little or no ramifications in regards to playing or suspensions.
It would be eminently unfair to include Jordan Westerkamp in a police line-up for the crime of rape because he looks like every sleezy porn actor to make it big (pun intended) and the victim might have a strong unconscious compulsion to finger him as the perp.

Pretty sure Maury can get DNA tests done in under an hour to find out who the baby daddy is. They should call him for anything DNA related.
No, we don't want to play Nebraska at full strength. I would rather win and keep our record intact that play them full strength and get beat.

I'm confused. I thought this thread was about how Nebraska is going to rape Iowa on Friday.
Not that this will get through to many here, but before you think this is something the University is sweeping under the rug, take a moment to read this article and educate yourself. Nobody within the football program has any involvement in this investigation.
