My no-pic's family tradition was watching the Santa Claus every Christmas Eve. I personally can't stand that movie, so I find an excuse to do something else every year.

For me, I'd pick both Home Alones. Heartwarming af.

My family is more Christmas Vacation/Bad Santa type; the wife's family has A Christmas Story on for 36 hours straight. It gets rather annoying when they are quoting it all day. I am 45 and had honestly never seen it until I went to a her families Christmas for the first time 15 years ago, or whatever it is now. They are obsessed to the point everyone owns a leg lamp and other shit from the movie.

Wife is crazy about the Santa Clause movies. Only one I have to see the Christmas Story. On Christmas Eve while putting shit together.

Some of my wife's family is similar with A Christmas Story.

I've never seen it.

Wife and I have always had a few drinks and watched Christmas Vacation on Christmas Eve. Last few years we've also watched Bad Santa.
I was going to say Xmas Vaction. But I did watch Bad Santa for the first time in many years and that is quite enjoyable. In fact while I do my cooking and chores around the house I think i'll pop it back on again. CSB!

I'd never watched it until a few years ago. First glimpse of it was on regular TV; I was drunk & watched 10 or 15 minutes of it. It's unwatchable like that, because virtually everything BBT says is bleeped out.
I pretty quickly found it on a streaming service.

Christmas Vacation. Have got a bit burnt out on A Christmas Story that use to hold the title. Part of the reasoning is as I have grown older, I realize that I and my family have partly transformed into the Griswold’s as presented in this movie.

A new underrated and emerging fun time I highly recommend is 2022 Violent Night, do yourself a favor and watch that when the kids and wife are tucked away.

I don’t think it’s necessary to have to “no pic” your family. I have 3 go to’s, Christmas Vacation, Elf, and Scrooged. Every year.

White Christmas. Klaus on Netflix might climb up that list as well.

Idk if I’ve just seen too many versions of Christmas carol or what, but I just can’t with this movie, and i love bill Murray.

Just one of those movies that by all accounts I should like but I just don’t.

The Grinch with Jim Carrey never gets old.
I love Bad Santa.
Christmas Vacation and Home Alone I & II still hold up really well.

I’ll watch pretty much any Christmas movie if it’s on from November 1st to December 25th.
