I'm really bothered by the use of the idiom in the thread title and the first line of the original post. The omission of "the" is just driving me into nuts.

Tomorrow evening from DSM. Staying with my sis in eastern Illinois, then moving on to Indy Saturday afternoon
Flying out from twin cities Friday night heading to Dayton. 1:30 drive from there. Wife(no pics) refuses to drive the 9 hours back on Sunday. Dayton was about half the price with a free rental car plus the flight times were much better for us leaving from work later Friday afternoon. Can't wait!
