Where was this offense all year?

We would be undefeated if our offense played half as well in previous weeks as they did last night. I'll give credit where it's due, our offense played lights out and BF called a heck of a game. Where was this all year? Can we carry it over into Madison?

Missing blocks, dropping passes, and generally poorly executing plays. We've finally see the improvement we've been waiting for. It's what happens with young teams. It's just frustrating waiting for them to get to the point. Also, I think inexperience on BF's part played a significant role as well.

New Qb, new scheme, having to juggle O-line and many dropped balls, everyone gets tired of hearing Kirk saying things like execution and cleaning things up, but that is what happened.

This is a very young offense. Takes time.

Jackson and Wirfs were not ready to play this year. It wasn't that they lacked the potential skill it was that they weren't ready mentally to handle all the blocking schemes. They looked a step slow all year and then for whatever reason things started clicking for them yesterday. When Iowa's OT's can't block their assignments it throws the entire OL off. If they play like this the rest of the year watch out. Iowa could be the best team in the B1G it just won't end that way in the standings. That Northwestern loss will be that much more painful if we win out and Wisconsin goes down to us and Michigan.
