Which way does it fall? Some will say both. Some will say neither. But that is not true. I suspect that because the team performed so badly the emotions of the fans were magnified....I know mine were.
I have no problem with the fans yesterday.. that was some serious horse shat officiating! Like, stuff high school refs catch regularly
The team? The team fed off it, which is kind of sad that that's what it took but it was the loudest the crowd was all day.. people finally started making noise the next driveDo you think that is what bothered them the most?
Ohhh the fans? Yeah great question.. I was pretty up and down on the team during the game.. up 24-17 I was thinking good things, when they scored 3 straight TDs I was looking at the schedule wondering how we get to 6 winsDo you think that is what bothered them the most?
I'd switch team and coaches, but otherwise, correct.Team, coaches, officials, fans in that order.
I debated on that. Giving up 38 to NW made choose team as the worst.I'd switch team and coaches, but otherwise, correct.
Answer: the officiating crew.
Urban Meyer is bush league. So I'll take your word for it cuz if anybody knows bush league it's a Buckeye.I'd say the fans who threw stuff on the field look the worst. Bush league.
It doesn't look good today, but if we beat Minnesota (somehow) things will look much better.
Congratulations.Fans--Team--Coaches Throwing things on the field and not selling out our homecoming after a 12 win season gets the fans 1st place. Don't tell me it's a long drive to the game and we lost to NDS earlier. I'm 76 and had season tickets through the 60s and 70s when we didn't have a winning season. I drove in from Indiana for the games which shows if your a fan you come.

Most of the time I think Nebraska is the stupidest state in the union. Then a Buckeye will post on here & I have to reevaluate.Don't talk about your daddy like that.
Actually agree with this. The team looks bad because they lost to a crappy opponent. The fans were just responding to some terrible calls/no calls that even the announcers were questioning. No one is saying Jewels wasn't a face mask, they were just upset that the one two plays (or so) before and just as obvious wasn't called. I have no idea what Jaleel said to the ref, but I'd assume it was something like "call it both ways".Fans weren't throwing stuff because of the team.. it was because of the refs! The team was very well supported by the fans yesterday
I think it shows the lack of mental maturity of the refs who were so offended by whatever comments and/or gestures made by Johnson.Actually agree with this. Speaking of the atrocious officiating, I certainly hope this crew gets reprimanded. The Big Ten presumably reviews every game and clearly should give this crew their equivalent of an "F". So many blatant non-calls against NW that were crippling to Iowa's chances. It had to be either phenomenal incompetence or corruption. Not a big conspiracy theorist, so I'll go with the former. But this was incompetence that clearly hurt one team's chances to win the game. There must be some kind of consequences for this crew. If it's just business as usual, something is seriously wrong with Big Ten officiating. The head official should have to answer questions after the game. Of course, that will never happen so they have zero accountability to the players, coaches and fans for a truly terrible performance.
The fans are frustrated at the poor officiating and they have few ways to show it. The rotten tomatos analogy applies here, but all they had were water bottles. Be happy it wasn't "Energizer D Cell Battery Day at Kinnick"
