Who would have believed that ....

Sandfort and PMac are going through a cold stretch. Stinks for Sandfort because if he isn't scoring he isn't much use on the court. Ulis is much much more valuable to the team then. Hopefully CMac can keep it up. He has improved his mechanics so I want to believe this isn't a fluke.

he's shooting better than Sandfort, too.
Up until late last year when CMac’s shot started going in D’s were pretty much ghosting him and doubling down on who had the ball. Is that still the case or are they getting in CMac’s grill and he’s still draining them?

My guess Sandfort’s rep from last year has identified him as someone that can fill it up and the D is more aware of where he is this year. He’ll get it back, scorers usually figure it out.

He's getting played honestly, which helps him and the team. He's been good so far this year. His best characteristic is just not doing stupid crap on the floor. It is helpful when you have a guy who doesn't care if he scores or not and understands where the ball needs to go. His brother and Sandfordt start to get itchy and throw up quick shots if they haven't scored in a while.

Agree on Sandfordt. Everyone knows who he is this year and he is pressing big time. Tonight is defense started suffering, which is also not surprising. His man scored 3-4 straight times in the second half and Fran had to take him out. He will bounce back, hopefully starting next week. But the pre-season hype for him didn't help one bit from the Iowa media.

Well... Given the same minutes for Sandfort as Patrick, he would have have more points (10-9), infinitely more assists (4 vs 0), more rebounds (4-3) and more fouls (LOL) (4-0) which to me means he is at least TRYING to play defense. Sandfort took shots at twice the rate as Patrick and they both shot 25%, so he had more misses.

I think PS is rushing his shot right now……as with most shooters he will come out of his slump. Watch out when he does.

Me. He's healthy finally

good for him--he's made himself a better player.

It is his 6th year---poor health or lack of focus because of baseball or maybe he worked with a shooting whisperer.....whatever...hopefully it lasts through the entire season.
