Why do liberals come off as the needy types?

It just seems to me the people who whine less about fair, or unfair, what they think they deserve, how you should be sympathetic, etc. are usually the types aren't very good at going out and accomplishing anything.

Is this the product of the liberal lean towards education? Is the product of the Department of Educations change on the American educational system? Teach them to love the system, despite it's many flaws and failings, and make sure that they fight to keep it?

How come the 'tougher', 'redneck' types seem to be the ones who are much more capable of handling life on their own?

Have you ever worked in a factory? I did in the summer while in college and those redneck types were the biggest bunch of crybabies I've ever met. It was always someone else's fault and they were constantly pissed with how much money Joe Manager made
