Why do our QB's seem to regress?

Any reason they seem to peak their first year starting then get worse every year? It has been that way with KOK and GD.

He doesn't seem as mobile as last year and the lines pass protection is garbage AGAIN!
Can't put it all on CJ with the horrible line and mediocre receivers! Look at the ball he threw smith towards the end....you have to catch that damn ball! Look at all the pressure he gets! He doesn't look as good as last year.....but there are more reasons than just him!

No it is all not on Cj, but he does not feel the pressure and is a sitting target in the pocket now. Maybe more awesome coaching, but that is also a huge issue.

A combination of sample size being too small, and the thinking that QB is responsible for all W's and L's.

Both Tate and Stanzi benefitted from ridiculous defenses in their first year as starter.

Tate in 2005? IDK, but played hurt in 2006.

Stanzi was statistically superior in 2010, but they lost all the close games instead of winning them, so obviously he "regressed".
