It really bothers me that every time the Howe’s and Doctherman’s of the world speak of it they have some sarcastic chuckle and act like Iowa fans are ungrateful. The evidence says there is legitimacy to this narrative. ‘13, ‘16, and now ‘21 we were universally considered a B1G title contender in January and will end up not even being close. In 2019 the team absolutely collapsed including a 2 game suspension for a Fran temper tantrum. Last year they lost 3 of 4 to close the year. I think this team will get better once they leave the grind of the B1G come March, but why are we not allowed to criticize something that is absolutely factual?
Why is the Fran fade laughed off by the media?
