They continually play down to scrappy teams and lose to them. It drives me insane they beat us and struggle with the likes of Illinois and Rutgers.

Gotta be equally pissed off that we caught Wisconsin at a bad time. Can’t believe Iowa let them win in Kinnick. Getting stomped by Minnesota.
Yup. Like I said, the only differences are that they win close games.....and that they are coached by a fat douche.

Or, it could be NU won the division 3 weeks ago by beating Iowa, so they sat Thorson and Bowser in the second half (along with nearly every other starter). Not to mention sitting half the defensive starters (including 3 DB starters) and playing base defense and running 4 offensive plays in the second half.
NU could have won that game today by 5+ TDS if they weren’t seeking to get/stay health for OSU next week.

Because he’s our douche and we embrace him. The same way NW embraces Pat. We would love Pat if he was an Iowa coach but he loathe him instead. Brian is becoming hated by other schools because he’s a redass.
Maybe it’s a thing this year because PITT won the Costal so that’s a good point after losing 51-6 to PSU with some other suspect losses.
NW lost to 7-5 Duke at home who just lost 59-7 to 6-6 Wake Forest. Duke lost also to Virginia who 5-7 Indiana beat.
It really has been a bizarre season. Nothing makes sense other than Bama is head and shoulders better than anyone else.
Trying to compare similar scores will drive you nuts. Give it up. Perfect example: OSU got absolutely thumped by Purdue yet destroyed a favored Michigan yesterday.
OSU winning that particular game at home was not surprising given their talent level. The way it unfolded was. To see Michigan quitting & even faking some injuries when it got tough. Surprising.
