Yes it is. Tired of the current trend but it just keeps snowballing. Wisconsin has a clear advantage over us and at this point it doesn't seem to matter the circumstances.

Wiscy has it rolling as of right now, and they should be the barometer for the West. Iowa needs to step it up

@CAhawki how does Iowa "step it up?" I mean KF/BF/PP seemingly have the same game plan every year and every week. Nothing has changed for Iowa but yet Wisky keep evolving and reloading every year. I dont see Iowa consistently beating Wisky again until after KF/BF leave, which may be never.

If a guy who sat in the room and laughed and took photos while his roommate sexually assaulted 2 women actually got what was coming to him, Iowa wins this game. Paul Chryst has character issues and it is going to catch up to the program.

The number of first year coaching staffs the Iowa coaching staff has lost to makes you wonder if longevity with this staff has actually led to an advantage.
I dont know how they step it up... but playing second fiddle to Wisc should not be the expectation. And you answered your own question. wisc has been able to progress. Why hasnt Iowa? I feel wiscy has a very clear identity. Run Run and throw when you have to. Hornibrook is a very capable QB. They have good Wrs OL and solid TEs. And, outstanding RBs. Iowa has a decemt QB, an ok OL fantastic TEs and questionable WRs. I dont see a clear identity from Iowa. OSU 17 being the exception, our offense has been Jeykl and hyde some time... against elite competition. But even against ok to bad competition, i have little confidence of what we will see on any Saturday. I mean crap, Iowa goes uptempo against UNi last week amd we saw nothing of the sort this week.
What exactly did Davis contribute to the victory? Ferguson was the guy Iowa had no answer for and AJ Taylor caught the winning TD. He is a guy the Hawks recruited heavily and I haven't heard any character issues with him.
There would be expectations and that would be a great start

Of course you didn't see any hurry up against a good team. Kirk back to being Kirk. Kill clock and pray we pull something out of our ass at the end of the game.
Problem is, he no longer has Norm Parker Defenses to lock down teams in the 4th quarter to actually win a game.
We force zero turnovers, gave them 3 of the easiest variety you'll ever see and still should have won this game.
Iowa was the better team and still found a way to lose.
I disagree with better team comments by many. Better teams make the plays to win games and that would be Wisconsin. What’s a better and more accurate statement is that was a winnable game.
