I think Keegan is enjoying college to much and well come back one more year
Well this will make Rifler happy. He likes the team under the radar. 🤪Just gonna have to take down @MrsScrew then!!![]()
Please explain how you possibly think Kris would transfer? This makes no sense, I'd say any other player has a higher transfer % after this year outside of Pmac than Kris. Our fans are the most over-reactionary people I've ever seen. He doesn't get enough PT in one game to some, and he's going to transfer.I didn't say he would. I said it's a possibility. You act like nobody does it. You see there's this thing called the portal. In fact Iowa State built a top 10 team through it this year...
Don't get all excited now. I never said he was going to transfer. I said it wouldn't shock me. He most likely stays, but anything is possible in today's game and I and some others gave you some reasons to consider as to why Kris might move on. The fact that people still believe something is impossible when it happened twice at Iowa just last year alone seems kinda crazy. I'll make you the same offer I made that other dude. I will bet you $100 that Kris moves on after this year. You give me $1000 if I win. That's 10-1 odds. If you are convinced today that there is absolutely no way Kris leaves then you should take the bet. How's that? Please explain how you possibly think Kris would transfer? Does “moving on” include going pro? Because that’s the only way Kris isn’t coming back to Iowa next year… especially after he’s seen what his brother is doing/has done in Fran’s system, his family’s ties to the university, and basically a guaranteed starting spot at the 4 (with really nobody backing him up unless Rebraca starts playing some 4) + being the best player on the team aside from maybe Toussaint if he continues to get betterDon't get all excited now. I’m out on the bet because I’d have to post personal information to collect/send, but that sounds like the easiest hundred bucks ever. If it were somebody I knew in person offering it to me, I’d definitely take it
MoronIt’s probably because we know our team.
I still don’t think this team makes the tournament. But if they play tough & hit the boards like last night, maybe they can sneak in.
I think the softness will return though.
Well then I wouldn’t take the bet, because that could very feasibly happen if he goes through the pre-draft process and is told that a team will take him if he’s available in the second round or undrafted. The measurables are there just like his brother with small samples of high productionIt includes going pro. I take Venmo.
Hmm... For a bunch of people saying there's no way that Kris isn't coming back next year I sure am having trouble getting someone to bite. 🤷♂️Well then I wouldn’t take the bet, because that could very feasibly happen if he goes through the pre-draft process and is told that a team will take him if he’s available in the second round or undrafted. Get well soon!I wear a mask and I still got covid. Irony is, I was likely contagious when I was at the RAC for wrestling on Friday night and MBB on Saturday last weekend. So my covid vax card was useless.
and cloth masks are totally and absolutely useless. it's why hospitals got rid of them decades ago.
I just said it’s feasible that he doesn’t come back next year if he goes pro 😂Hmm... For a bunch of people saying there's no way that Kris isn't coming back next year I sure am having trouble getting someone to bite. 🤷♂️
You said transfer. That was the issue.Hmm... For a bunch of people saying there's no way that Kris isn't coming back next year I sure am having trouble getting someone to bite. 🤷♂️

Huh... Sure sounds familiar..If Kris stays in school, he isn’t going anywhere. Look at the success keegan has had this yr, kris knows he’ll slide right into that role and he’ll get all the opportunities he needs to showcase himself. And they should be a better team overall next year.
I'm not some freaking stalker. I paid someone else on here with Venmo. He'll vouch for me 😉.Well then I wouldn’t take the bet, because that could very feasibly happen if he goes through the pre-draft process and is told that a team will take him if he’s available in the second round or undrafted. That’s exactly what I imagine a stalker would say. Now you’re really sketching me out broI'm not some freaking stalker.
Done. 20/1. If he goes pro the bet is off. If he transfers out you owe me 2 grand. If he doesn't I pay you $100. Either way I win!!That’s exactly what I imagine a stalker would say. Now you’re really sketching me out bro
But really, no bet unless you want it to exclude going pro (I’ll even give you 20/1 odds!)

What do you mean your vax card was useless? It got you into the meet didn't it?I wear a mask and I still got covid. Irony is, I was likely contagious when I was at the RAC for wrestling on Friday night and MBB on Saturday last weekend. So my covid vax card was useless.

Probably not, but I could have gotten similar odds on Nunge and CJ last year so...Kris isn't transferring 😂
Kris to the NBA is a definite possibility depending how he plays the rest of the season and plays for scouts afterwards.
Nunge and CJ's dads didn't play for Iowa. Nor did they grow up 20 minutes from Iowa City. I think that's a huge difference.Probably not, but I could have gotten similar odds on Nunge and CJ last year so...
Nunge’s a really unique case and CJ was a two year starter that basically got benched during the tournament. If anything, I think that Kris will play above his season average in minutes in whatever our last game of the season is. Fran would have to do something really odd to royally piss off the Murray family for Kris to peaceProbably not, but I could have gotten similar odds on Nunge and CJ last year so...
True. Lots of similarities too though. I think Luka was Nunge's best friend on the team and he was moving on to the NBA. Keegan is Kris' best friend on the team and he's probably moving on to the NBA. Nunge was a talented player that struggled to crack the starting lineup but was assured of a more prominent role after Luka left. Kris is a very talented player that is struggling to crack the starting lineup but is assured of a more prominent role next year. I know that Jack's move was described as a desire to move closer to home but there were closer places than Xavier which is still 3 and a half hours away from where he grew up. It's possible that Jack didn't feel very good about how he was utilized when healthy or no longer felt like he had a good relationship with Fran. I don't know all of the factors that played into CJ and Nunge leaving. I'm guessing nobody really knows except for CJ and Nunge. All we know for sure is that both of them had other opportunities at prestigious programs and both jumped. I love following and watching the Hawks so I hope Kris is around next year. I don't know the Murrays at all so I don't know how they are feeling about things and I'm guessing the odds of Kris leaving are low, but at 20 to 1, that's not a bad place to land if he does.Nunge and CJ's dads didn't play for Iowa. Nor did they grow up 20 minutes from Iowa City. I think that's a huge difference.
I don't want Kris to leave and I don't want you to be out 2k either. But if I have to endure one, I might as well cash in on the other.Nunge’s a really unique case and CJ was a two year starter that basically got benched during the tournament. I would wish you luck, but I don’t want to see Kris transfer and I definitely don’t want to be out 2k
Nunge had frustrating reoccurrence of injuries. He wanted to have support systems closer to home if he was injured again.Probably not, but I could have gotten similar odds on Nunge and CJ last year so...
Again, I believe Xavier is 3 and a half hours from home. Not exactly across town.Nunge had frustrating reoccurrence of injuries. He wanted to have support systems closer to home if he was injured again.
I mean less odd things like minute distribution and playing Bohannon 30+ minutes while shooting 20%, and more odd things that would disrupt the ties that the Murray family has with the basketball programI don't want Kris to leave and I don't want you to be out 2k either. But if I have to endure one, I might as well cash in on the other.
Edit: I think Fran is already doing some really odd things, but that's just an opinion and you know how much those are worth on HR.

Lawl
Good ole jizzstain
He's 3 hours closer to home.Again, I believe Xavier is 3 and a half hours from home. Not exactly across town.
Let's not forget that Jack's father passed away last year as well. Can't blame him one bit for wanting to be closer to home. He's 3 hours closer to home.
Jack Quote when transferring:
“This has been an incredibly emotional and difficult year for me and my family. I want to transfer to a school closer to home so I can be near my mother and siblings. I have nothing but fond memories of the University of Iowa, my teammates, coaches and fans these past four years. I sincerely appreciate Hawkeye Nation’s overwhelming support during my time in Iowa City. I wish my teammates the best of luck in the future and appreciate everything the University of Iowa has done for me.”
But, I bet you are correct.
You think Kris has only been shorted minutes once? You think Kris is gonna transfer?
Wasn't CJ injured? He was almost all of February into March. And he did play 30 and 31 minutes in the last game of the regular season against WI and the first B1G tournament game against WI. He was down to 22 min in the last game against IL but he was only 2-5, no 3 pt shots, and pretty much disappeared. He played 32 minutes against GCU,only scored 7 pts. And against OR, he played 13 minutes and was scoreless (0-3). Given his recurring injury issues and the very quick turnaround, I’ll assume he was injured on that one.Nunge’s a really unique case and CJ was a two year starter that basically got benched during the tournament. Jack's a class guy. I'm sure this all factored into his decision. That said, there are more than a half dozen schools that are closer to home than Xavier so distance wasn't everything. Jack could have gone to a lot of places with his skillset. Evansville is in the same town basically and Indiana, Indiana State, Louisville, Bowling Green and even Vanderbilt are significantly closer. You're not really going to be spending much more time with family 3.5 hours away anymore than 6 hours away. Holidays and breaks. That's just a fact, Jack. 😊He's 3 hours closer to home.

He's comparing IC to Xavier. Not those other schools, and the take is that he moved closer to home, which he did. I think Fran said that CJ looked hampered by injury, but I didn’t get the sense that CJ agreed based on his quick and cold departureWasn't CJ injured? He was almost all of February into March. Point being that the only person who sat CJ was CJ. He was heavily relied upon but he did not or could not come through for Iowa many times when it counted. Kris has come through big time for Iowa and will get his minutes.
You're getting a little worked up here fella. Wrong about what exactly? If that's important to you and your ego needs a boost, you just have to quote me where I was wrong and I will be happy to oblige and admit to you that I was wrong. You're starting to sound a little like Fran though and I don't know if this board can take 2 Frans. He's comparing IC to Xavier. You're afraid to answer anything. The implication of Kris transferring is pretty clearly in relation to the last two games, by jonesy. He played great against Indiana and got rewarded with lots of minutes. He played not so great against Minny and got sat. In fact, I'd go so far as to say, he had a bad game. Go look at the game logs for the last month. Kris's minutes are shortened in games he isn't playing well and Rebraca is (Minny, MD, SELA, WIU). His minutes are fair, I'm sure even his dad would agree. If during your coaching days you continued to play the guy who wasn't having a good game, well it could also be the reason you are on this message board. You think Kris has only been shorted minutes once?
Worked up? I'm just making fun of your silly take of Kris transferring. Jack is literally quoted as saying he wanted to play closer to home. You're laying an argument that there are other places closer to home, which really has nothing to do with why he left. He left to play closer to home, and did. What do you think you are correct about? Could you lay out one specific thing he said that wasn't related to location on his transfer? You're getting a little worked up here fella.
