It's not like it's just padding the stats either, he's only playing 26 minutes per game so far.

I just love the intensity and pure love he plays with, going 100% full speed against the last 3 teams, just says a lot about his character. The rest of the guys are kind of going through the motions a bit, but he just brings the same energy every time out.

Obviously I'm not making a direct comparison here but one of my favorite stories about Michael Jordan is how he was the only player on the 1992 Dream Team that spent any time watching game film of the opponents beforehand. Luka is out of that exact same mold, and it's rare stuff.

If my math was right, he needs to average 19ppg to pass Marble. That just regular season.

So yes, he'll pass Marble barring injury that keeps him out numerous games.

Jess said during the Western Illinois broadcast "No disrespect to Todd Lickliter, but if he were still Coaching I'd be comfortably at 5th on that list" (not word for word, but something to that effect). Pretty funny.

I heard it too and couldn't help but just laugh. That being said, wish we could get someone from his staff to join ours and teach defense.

Jess had one other comment that had me going but can't remember exactly. Glad he discussed Dr. Tom last night too. I feel like he's let his Iowa homerism come out more than usual which I've enjoyed.
