I am so uninterested in watching it that I don''t even know if it's a TV show or a movie. But I am somewhat curious to know what the point of it is. Does it take a position on his guilt?

Can't see where the movie will shed any more light on the story than the real thing being shown at the time it happened.

Will not watch. I was disgusted enough the first time it was on TV. No need to go through that again.

I may, just because I was in 6th grade when the verdict was announced. Honestly, who announces the verdict of a former football player over the intercom to a bunch of 6th graders (non of us saw OJ play, we weren't old enough).

The ONLY reason I knew who he was was, because he played Nordberg in the Naked Gun movies.

I was in the Coast Guard at the Seventh District Office in downtown Miami. They had a TV showing the trial in our office the entire summer. Totally surreal.

Right, you just made my point. You guys were in the military (Coast Guard is considered military right, seriously I always thought they were) and we're all adults. We were kids who hadn't dissected frogs yet, was just told the year before what vaginas are actually for, and still had 8:30pm bedtimes.

It was stupid

Yes, the Coast Guard is considered a branch of the military. They get all the military benefits and are paid according to military pay scales. But the USCG is under the department of Homeland Security and only falls under the command of the Department of Defense in the event of declared war.

This allows the Coast Guard to legally perform domestic law enforcement activities that the Navy is forbidden to engage in. The Coast Guard also does not need probable cause to stop your vessel and perform a search.

Kinda strange actually.

He's still did it, but he's in prison and not getting out anytime soon. I'll watch just to see if there is anything new from the prosecution side.

Yea, I was in 7th grade, same thing. It just goes to show you how engrossed we were as a nation with the trial of OJ.
