Had the chance to check out the Indiana Fever's game against the Minnesota Lynx last night.

She's no longer in black and gold, but Caitlin Clark is still a sight to see.

Really fun game, lots of really good players, and a really fun experience overall.

On that drive to the basket you showed, she did a great job of using her body to shield the defender, instead of using her off hand. Good job on that one.

It was another record crowd of over 19,000, I believe the TV reporters said. And it sounded about evenly divided between CC/Fever fans and those of the home team. It was a shame CC and her teammates had an off night shooting the three, but "that's basketball" a wise observer once said.

CC is always entertaining and, bottom line, that's what sports is all about.

That's life on the road; sometimes you can't hit your three's and the home team can't miss (Carleton& McBride).

Mitchell is a real detractor when she's not hitting her shots and she seldom gives up the ball mid to late in the shot clock.

Dontas was the biggest issue the other night. She made a couple early then she started jacking a bunch of shots up in the critical late minutes. Just because you CAN make a three doesn't make you a 3 point shooter. Cardosa shot 1000% in college making the only three she attempted. I doubt she's going to be launching a bunch of three's in the W. The offense needs to run exclusively through Clarks hands, especially late in games, and she needs to shoot more or feed Mitchell or Boston almost exclusively with a few for Hull, KLS, or Temi if she's in there.

Still, it's good to see the Fever with a full and healthy roster as they go down the stretch.

Agreed, and Dantas gave really good minutes in the first half last night. Smith is so erratic you never know from one night to the next what your going to get with her..

Boston has been in kind of a funk lately. I know Cardoso's height intimidated her, but it's been more than just one game. Hopefully, she'll snap out of it against the lowly Sparks.
