Any win for the BIG at this point puts to rest the notion that we are a weak conference. Thanks to ESPN and others.
No, I don't. I want the entire conference to suck and Iowa to win every game. I especially hate Wisconsin because they are one of our biggest rivals and we compete on many levels with them. It is our turn to be on top. Piss on Wisconsin.

Maybe now Villanova will also complain about how THEY got screwed by the committee as well by having to play an underseeded Wisconsin team in this game too! Though they still show that they didn't deserve the number one overall seed regardless of where Wisconsin was seeded.

Jay Wright gave this game to the Badgers. There is no way Happ or Hayes should have been allowed to score in the paint. Foul them and make the brick throwers make free throws, something they have done very poorly all season. Nova couldn't stop them defensively in the paint the whole game. Stupid in game coaching by Wright handed the game to the Badgers.
If that's ripping somebody's pants off you don't get laid much.
It's easier to pull for the Badgers in the postseason now that Bo the Reptile King is gone and they put your favorite uncle, Gard, in charge of the team.
Enjoyed the game and the Badger win. Go Big 10. Sure like Koenig but will not miss him next year.

I think you are in the minority if you would rather watch iowa vs. a bunch of Nebraska or Rutgers level teams. I don't fear the competition and neither should the Hawkeyes. Would much rather watch us play a good Purdue, Wisconsin, or Sparty team any day.
Also, the rest of America is much more likely to tune their TV sets to that vs. Gonzaga against some average WCC team, no?
B1G got shafted in the seeding this year. Win more games, and the seeding it better. A rising tide lifts all boats.
Getting respect for B1G is somewhat good for Iowa recruiting. That said, this is enough for Wisconsin from my point of view..I hope they lose the next game. Also hope they are on cusp of sucking next year.
I was being somewhat sarcastic. Obviously a competitive league us a good thing. I just want Iowa on top instead of pissconsin.
8 on 5, that sounds very familar when playing Wisconsin, your home record also indicates it. sometimes it's even 8 on 5 when the badgers play away games.This was the first year in a long time the refs were alright, not terrible.
Now so you understand how hard it is to beat a good team when the refs are messing the game up?
Sparty gets the same treatment as you in the B10, I bet officials have trouble doing those games. I'm assuming whoever the home team is gets all the calls when you play izzo.
But impressive win yesterday and helping the B10 look good, also that funk you were in at the end of the year seems to have gone away, I wish 2 of our last 3 tourney teams who had similar slides would have had the toughness like Wisconsin to get out of it.
Great win against a great team I bet those Villanova fans are freaking out, I'm sure they flooded your board like they did ours last year.
