Wisky losing makes me feel much better after our loss tonight.
Barry Alvarez has never stopped looking...
And Wisky knocking off MSU recently just adds to the WTF-ness of the conference race this year.
I've gotten to where I actually enjoy a Badger loss almost as much as a Hawkeye win,... Does this make me a bad person?

Absolutely not. It makes you a good hawkeye.
It is crazy. Looks like Illinois and Md have the best road results and look where they are. I expect it to further tighten up down the stretch.
They wanted someone who could at least meet Bo Ryan's success. Greg Gard isn't doing that.
Good luck with that. A good portion of my life, Wisconsin was a bottom feeder in basketball. They got lucky with Bo Ryan and implementing a system that I don't believe can be replicated again. They will continue to decline imo.
Badger Basketball = Nebraska Football,... and Bo Ryan was their Tom Osborne..
Have you followed the turmoil around the team this year? If not, do some research on it. The strength coach recounting stories and dropping racial epithets in the context of the story, which in turn caused there prized player Kobe King to leave the team. Kobe King cited the atmosphere at Wisconsin was not conducive to his success. (Some speculation on my part.) Losing too many games for AD Barry Alvarez's expectation. Gard was thrust upon him by Bo Ryan early season retirement.
Yes I have been following it very closely. The strength coach incident had very little/if any reason to do with King’s departure. Apparently he had not been happy for quite some time with how he was coached and he finally hit his breaking point.
Gard is on pace for his 4th NCAA tournament in 5 seasons. He took his lumps in recruiting these past couple years, but has completely turned it around in 2020/2021. If he’s fired it’s because of Barry’s ego

You can bet he will use this to gain immediate eligibility. Gard has never been Barry's guy.
