His buyout at this point in time shouldn't be an issue, the university can't wait any longer, no natter how much money you throw at Fran. Carver is getting Lickliter era bad and there needs Beth to say enough is enough to save the men's program and find a young coach to bring the fans back to Carver. There is no turning back, the program is at a crossroads and is on life support....
Steroids are no longer standard of care and most organizations specifically recommended against them in spinal cord injury.

Iowa didn't deserve to win, and I don't want to sound like I am crying about the officiating, but did anyone else feel like this game wwas officiated as if the Goofers were the home team. Particularly on drives to the basket, Iowa got called for a number of mystery fouls, while Iowa players weren't getting the same calls when they went to the basket. It should not have mattered. I am checking whether I was just watching through black and gold glasses.
A question for those who have actually played BB over the years until recently--what is it with the rims and/or basketballs? When I played decades ago, it was not possible to get the dead ball makes when a shot hit the back of the rim and the back board. I assume it is both the more flexible rims put in for dunking, and maybe also something about the texture of the basketball. Minny players made 3 of them on FTs down the stretch.
I have definitely moved from the 'mostly positive about Fran' camp into the 'please go be with your family in Indiana' camp. This team should be MUCH better than what we have been watching the last 3 games.

Well, in games that matter, with Fran you'll be right about half the time.
This season is only going to get worse.
You might as well resign yourself to the fact that Fran is probably going to be back for at least another year, no matter how the rest of this season turns out. Today’s signing would seem to signal he isn’t leaving on his own, and I doubt he would be fired….his recruiting class likely bought him another year or two. Maybe I’m wrong and maybe I’m not. We’ll find out in less than 2 months.
I’m not saying it WILL happen, just don’t be surprised if it does.
