Wisky vs Mich Tonight

Michigan is really good from inside the arc but mediocre from 3. Wisconsin shoots the 5th highest three point percentage in the country and turns the ball over the second fewest in the country per game (Michigan is 102nd). Given Wisconsin’s more difficult schedule thus far and their experience, I can see why it’s a close line. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Wisconsin win

Why's that your reasoning for pulling for Michigan?
Wisconsin beating an undefeated Michigan on the road would be a huge victory for them. As I said, If Wisky wins we are in a 3 way tie for 1st. If Michigan wins, Wisky falls a game behind us and we are alone in 2nd.

I'm curious to see how well Reuvers guards the 7'1 Freshman phenom for Michigan. I don't think Wisconsin does much 2-big lineups, so Wagner will probably have a size advantage and can/will shoot a lot of 3's if he is making them. How well team's shoot from 3ball on a given night makes it hard to predict outcomes other than 3ball shooting on the road tends to be worse which would give Michigan the advantage.

They will lose. Most likely on the road but they will lose.
Not sure anyone can say how good they are. I see there SOS rated between 34 nd 47 and they have played 2 total road games against Maryland and Nebraska (combined 2 and 10 in the league) and neither of them appear to have been all that impressive based on the scores. Of there wins in the BIG, none have come against a team with a winning record.

I haven’t watched much Wisconsin, mostly because their style of basketball puts me to sleep, so I don’t know how they are rotating players. I know that both Potter and Reuvers are capable and experienced big men though. I bet they do a decent job on Michigan’s guys

Truthfully, that Mich hasn’t played a top B1G team yet doesn’t bother me. I’m mostly curious to see what the plan is in a close game under 5 mins against a tourney team. The only close game I’ve seen was Oakland.

We need Michigan to lose, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. Michigan already has 6 blocks.
They’re really long and athletic!

We match up well with both of these squads, and we always have the best player on the court.

If Garza is able to stay out of foul trouble, he can keep Dickinson out of position that is important because he is 72 percent shooter. Garza offensive moves might leave Dickinson in dust, but he does have great size. I don't think Nunge is quick enough to keep up with Wagner. Keegan can.
Livers has gone off vs Iowa before and he looks pretty good. Iowa Zone will be interesting. Michigan doesn't look like great 3pt shooting team.

Michigan looks better than Wisconsin at least in 1st half.

yea... its crazy how dominating Michigan is this year...
wouldn't surprise me if they go undefeated all the way to the Championship
there's no way anybody comes close to beating that team

and #7 ??? thats a joke.. they are far and away the best team in the country right now.

Frankly, Michigan isn’t impressing me all that much. Wisconsin is playing very sloppy ball. They’ve forced a couple TO’s and are getting some blocks, but quite a few unforced errors too

There’s a reason Wisconsin’s first appearance in the ap poll last year was March 2nd. No one who watched thought they were worth a darn until they were forced to rank them.

Was hoping to learn a little more about Michigan tonight in a close game. Very good team though.

Mich D looks just has good as Wis but with 4x better offense.

I can't say it's hurting me too much seeing Wisconsin embarrassed.

There playing really well right now, BUT never, say never. This is college ball and teams have a bad shooting game from time to time. I mean NO WAY that Iowa goes to Nebraska last year and loses either right?

Michigan impressing me a lot. We are going to struggle with them. Cannot stand Wisky, think we can play with them

SO FAR.... best all around team in the BT. More athletic with their defense. Very active with their hands and physical. Really good offense. They are tough. Big they finish this game like they started they are 3rd best in the country...maybe 2. Season is fluid though....many changes can take place. Coach has them believing it starts with all of them on the defensive side of the floor.

Whisky missed some open threes , first half that I thought should have gone down but I’ll give Michigan all the credit , playing tight defense
