I credit losing a chance to go to the State basketball tournament on a last-second three for why I don't feel so bad about this game.

This was rough, but there's still goals to achieve. We haven't won a bowl game since 2010 and haven't been to a major bowl since the 2009-10 season, so we should get a good chance to end the season with a high quality win over a Top 10 opponent (most likely).

I'll raise you with a dropped flyball in the bottom of the 7th of a substate baseball game my freshman year.

I would feel worse if Iowa hadn't left it all on the field. Iowa lost to a very worthy opponent tonight.

I think you can easily bounce back from this. Iowa had an amazing season and proved they belonged tonight. I almost feel like their head is higher now after standing in the ring and punching all night with MSU.

Iowa hasn't played in the rose bowl in forever. If you can't get jones-ed to play in the freaking rose bowl, then I can't help you.

So basically we're at Rocky I right now. Lost by decision after going 15 rounds with the champ.

Guess next year is Rocky II.....
