Obviously having it on TBS was a huge error in judgement by CBS.

Agreed, the best rounds are the first two.True. Plus it's just not the "event" that other sport finale's have.
The NCAA tournament is all about that first weekend, IMHO.
Not sure, but it was a 10 million drop from last years game. There's more at work there than just streaming.Do they count people streaming legally or otherwise in their numbers?
I have a feeling the downward ratings trend is going to continue and we are on the last hurrah of the mega huge TV deals that are the basis of revenue generation for NCAA sports.

I just watched the last 5 minutes. (I monitored the score on my device.) But I will say this, WHAT A FINISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just incredible.
Agreed.
Anytime you go from one of the main networks to basic cable there is going to be drop off.
It was on TBS last year, too.
"Monday’s 77-74 victory by Villanova over North Carolina averaged a 12.0 overnight household rating on TBS, TNT and truTV — down about 30% from an especially high-rated game a year ago on CBS (17.1 for Duke-Wisconsin)"
I will accept my apology in the form of a limerick or haiku. Your choice.

Has it been clarified that they counted all three channels?
Or just stop playing on Monday night. And keep it to the weekend. The games start too late. I couldn't stay up to watch the second half of either they College Basketball or College Football national championship games. I'm sure I'm not the only one. They need to start these games at 7 p.m. instead of 8:20.

Put me on the list of people watching the cubs kick some butt!I didn't watch because it wasn't on CBS. I streamed the Cubs game and wanted to flip back and forth.
LMAO, who are you listening to? It might be the 3 run double he came in and hit off the bench while schwarber struggled.Do the Cubs have an easy out in their lineup this season? I heard Maddon started Szczur the following night solely because he was a 'Nova alumnus.
Too many elites. Terrible officiating. Catering to the power conferences and only certain teams within. Raging Hockey games instead of basketball. Television timeouts. Announcers during the season that act like Rush Limbaugh or Michael Moore.
I'm sure I can think of more but if the powers that be would work on this list first...or not. If not, eventually the sports-holics will leave and the games will get good again.
Many people don't have cable/satellite. Since Monday Night Football went to ESPN it hasn't cracked the top 30, where Sunday night and Thursday night football on a network is always top 5That's pretty surprising. Didn't think having it on TBS would make that great of an impact, and especially considering the prestige of the two schools playing, I'd figure it would draw a lot of people.
The viewers' loss anyways, it was a heckuva game. Also, did they do the Bleacher Report Team Stream thing again on TNT and TruTV? That could split up a lot of viewers.
