Does he have any coaching experience at all?I would not mind if they gave McNutt a chance at it.
google is free, and the answer is yesDoes he have any coaching experience at all?
Oh nice, I wonder how his Indoor Football League scheme experience aligns with Lester's?google is free, and the answer is yes
At Coe and played the position obviously as Iowa's all time leading receiver.Does he have any coaching experience at all?
I doubt he will get the job.Oh nice, I wonder how his Indoor Football League scheme experience aligns with Lester's?
He coached WRs at Coe. He has also helped with some at Iowa in the past.Oh nice, I wonder how his Indoor Football League scheme experience aligns with Lester's?
Coe College.. so.. ya.. I think I would aim for someone with a little more experience.Does he have any coaching experience at all?
DJK?Coe College.. so.. ya.. I think I would aim for someone with a little more experience.
So did Marv Levy.Seth Wallace came from Coe. And one of the best coaches in the Big Ten
Geez that is a lazy hire. Didnt the guy who just got fired have more experience than Bud and Mary?On Iowa Podcasts so far they are all saying it will be Budmayr.
It’s the Bud man
Then Abdul Hodge was a lazy hire as TE/FB coach.it will be a lazy hire: budmeyer.
I would think that TL has a few in mind and will get one before mid-February. He needs to can JB and give that money to a really good WR coach\recruiter.So will there be one hired before March?
Oh you can read books, go to coaching clinics, etc to learn techniques of a position. Then Abdul Hodge was a lazy hire as TE/FB coach.
His experience was three years South Dakota coaching OLBs.
You can either coach, or you can't.
He can’t be worse than CopelandOn Iowa Podcasts so far they are all saying it will be Budmayr.
or you can consider that hire a bit of hubris. We're iowa we churn out TE's, it doesn't matter who's coaching them. Then Abdul Hodge was a lazy hire as TE/FB coach.

You can either coach, or you can't.
You realize Seth Wallace played at COE and is now one of the top lber coaches in the country at Iowa. I would take Marvin Mcnutt in a heartbeatCoe College.. so.. ya.. I think I would aim for someone with a little more experience.
I get what you are saying, but It is just a tad bit different though. Wallace was at Coe for 1 year, followed by lake forest, Iowa (grad assistant), Valdosta State as a DB, DL, DC, and then back to Iowa as Barnes's position, CBs, and finally LBs.You realize Seth Wallace played at COE and is now one of the top lber coaches in the country at Iowa. Fire a coach who was not being effective who has many years of experience coaching Wr's to hire a coach that was never a wr and has never coached wr's to improve the wr's. Seems logical. On Iowa Podcasts so far they are all saying it will be Budmayr.
Mcnutt was an all big ten 1st team WR and ended up as Iowas all time leading receiver. He was also good enough to be drafted by the Phil Eagles in 2013. I think he would bring valuable experience at the position whether he coached at Coe or anywhere else.I get what you are saying, but It is just a tad bit different though. I wouldn't be upset with it, but honestly would rather hire someone in the league and pay them appropriately. whoever it is, I hope they know how to use the throwing machine to work on these WR's hands.Mcnutt was an all big ten 1st team WR and ended up as Iowas all time leading receiver. He was also good enough to be drafted by the Phil Eagles in 2013. I thought top 25 - 30 P5 team was turrible!Oh you can read books, go to coaching clinics, etc to learn techniques of a position.
But this is Iowa, a top 25-30 P5 team, hire someone with really good past results
I do think he would be more vocal also. In terms of what he sees going on out on the field during a game and relaying that to the OC.Mcnutt was an all big ten 1st team WR and ended up as Iowas all time leading receiver. He was also good enough to be drafted by the Phil Eagles in 2013. He never won squat.😉So did Marv Levy.
And he did not play LB in college. You realize Seth Wallace played at COE and is now one of the top lber coaches in the country at Iowa. I would take Marvin Mcnutt in a heartbeat
Did he not go to bama with deboer? I mean come on… we got Lester at OC what makes us think we are going to get anything special at WR… if it’s budmyr I’m ticked off… Lester wouldn’t have bothered me if it was 2 weeks earlier… but Bud should be nowhere near this team anymore IMO…Bring him back to the BIG and help the WR room out - Copeland freed up 500k, get JB out of the picture and that is another 350k - bring in shepard for 900k
It's Official: Purdue's JaMarcus Shephard Hired as Husky Receivers Coach
The Indiana native spent a season at WSU with Mike Leach before heading to the Big Ten.www.si.com
he'll probably be headed to Bama, since their coach decided to boogie on over to Texas. One can dream though.Did he not go to bama with deboer? One thing to keep in mind whoever the WR coach is will run the drills the most of what KF prioritizes. Be that blocking, route reading, footwork etc. I like you would like to see a lot more jug machine usage by if that is down the list of what KF wants it probably won't be done like with CopelandI wouldn't be upset with it, but honestly would rather hire someone in the league and pay them appropriately. whoever it is, I hope they know how to use the throwing machine to work on these WR's hands.
He did follow him there, but maybe he wants to come back to the midwest...and teach Iowa's receivers how to block and drop balls?Did he not go to bama with deboer?
