So if I'm reading and seeing this correctly, is this the WR rotation? 5-8 spots probably pretty interchangeable.
1. Easley
2. Meerkat
3. ISM
4. B. Smith
5. Devonte Young
6. Max Cooper
7. Falconer
8. Quarells

Also, loving the depth and potential of the secondary for seasons to come! Stone, Hankins, Hooker, another year of Snyder, etc. Another random note is that I see #1 (Dvorak) everywhere on special teams, our punt and kick return allowed yards have to be very, very good.

Disappointing seeing Quarells still so low. I knew he was going to be behind the other starting out, but was hoping he would be making a push right about now.

Yep, me too. However in this case I'd wager that it's not all about how much time he missed, but the fact Iowa has several good options ahead of him and when starters are healthy, it's tough for those down in pecking order to move up. Once the season starts you don't see much shifting or guys climbing the ladder sans FS/SS and punter, heck I don't think Devonte has caught a pass in two years has he? Maybe Falconer, but all I remember is the dropped 2 point conv. vs. Mich last year, excited for all the young talent!

Maybe not the time or place, but where do you think Oliver Martin would have factored in had he chose to come here?

Watch out next season for another 0 Star to break the top 5 Wr's. I'm hearing great things about a scout team player. USF could probably give us more details on him. I graduated with his dad and talked to him this weekend. It sounds like he has been Offensive Scout Team and Special Teams Player of the Week every week, but one.

Does this kid have a name?

Young has zero receptions. You know you're buried on the WR depth chart when halfway through the season, a DE (Epenesa) has more pass receptions than you. Even DT Reiff and DE Hesse have caught a pass (INTs) this year.

After Spring practice. I really thought Young was ready to break out for playing time at WR this year, maybe even challenge Easley for a starting spot. IDK, its probably a good sign that two true freshman, Smith and Smith-Marsette, have impressed early.

ISM looks like a split end to me.

Easley will be in the slot next year.

Yes, Sorry. Kyle Groeneweg. He was a transfer from USF that arrived in Aug. He actually went through camp despite having to sit out this year. Insiders tell me he is a remarkable athlete and is giving our #1 defense fits.
So he'll have 1 year to play next fall, correct? Same high school as Snyder?

Not being at the game it’s hard to tell, but do either of the two freshmen get open in their routes? SM has got a few looks, but I’ve been waiting for Smith to get some type of pass besides a screen or dump off, where we can see what he’s got for hands. My impression is that Stanley seems to favor Easley as a kind of fallback option in safe short routes.

Smith, not being a burner has very good hands. He's in the Marvin McNutt mold with a great vertical.

I am loving that Easley became the safety net instead of MVB, as he will be back next year. I like how our WR's are stacking up for years to come and I think ISM, b.smith, and cooper(he is supposed to be the burner right?) Will be REALLY good their Jr years and could be a strength of the team their senior year... COULD YOU IMAGINE THAT FELLAS? WR BEINF A STRONG POINT FOR IOWA IN 2020?

Edit: the key is going to be to sustain it. We need WR in the 2019 class that are as good or better than these guys.

My biggest concern going into ‘18 was at WR, now not as much.
