Back in those days, we didn't have an internet forum with someone saying it was imminent or looming.
Joking aside, we didn't have a lot of other circumstances that would lead to a quick onset of large scale war.

What? Didn't Trump defang all threats from North Korea with his bromance with Kim? The reality is that Kim found a soft mark with Trump and actually expanded North Korea's weapons' arsenal during Trump's tenure. North Korea had more nukes and ballistic missiles at the end of 2020 than when Trump took office in January 2016.
And they have even more nuclear capability now in 2024,.. No US president has been successful at halting North Korean nuclear development...
I feel like Russia and North Korea just came to some sort of agreement last week.
