Ya’ll getting some time off this holiday season?

I work every day through the rest of the year. 12 hour plus days (including Christmas). I think I have new years day off but then I’m right back to it through most of January.

I’m a couple hours away from being on vacation for rest of the year. Might check in a little Monday, but nothing big. Much needed break. It’s probably my favorite time of year for a staycation as they call it. It seems more acceptable to just stay in your pajamas and sleep in during the holidays than it does any other time of year. I’ve tried it. On a Tuesday in July, it just feels wrong and I feel guilty. Not this time of year so that is what I’m going to do.

How about you? You getting some time off? What are your plans?
Ditto. Just chilling and Christmasing. Planning to play Elder Scrolls Morrowind for the first time.

Last shift for 2024.

I'm usually working this time of year with the 24th,25th,31st and 1st as holidays. I try to let my team have it off first and I'll support their counterparts while they're away. I do miss taking this 2 weeks off. Especially when you were at number

I've got to make it through today, then I'm off until 1/13. Three straight weeks off of work is going to be sweet! I'll still be available via email in case anything comes up that I need to help with/handle. There prob won't be too much though.
Why make yourself available when you’re off? Screw them!
