Really is not worth the time he gets. He makes a couple plays and some of you cheer and are like,,, see,,, toughness.

Connor provided some important play…defensively he created a number of turnovers.
Indiana coach was complaining to the ref at the end of the first half and Connor felt the urge to be Fran from the court when the Indiana players were heading to the locker room. They ran into each other and a few words were exchanged then Josh O and TJD grabbed Connor as an Iowa Assistant was separating the players, TJD grabbed Connor and put his arm around him and they talked as they were leaving the court. Connor wasn’t starting anything, just voicing Iowa’s position compared to the Indiana coach’s position. No harm, no foul.

JBO at the shooting guard is not working. I would move CMAC ahead of JBO at the two, just because it improves defense and rebounding. JBO needs to be shooting a lot and making them to make up for his defense. That said, Perkins should be playing more minutea at the two.

CMac doesn't take any crap and he isn't afraid to talk with the officials. That toughness is badly needed by this team. Gutsy performance tonight. Great breakout game for Kris.
Yep only coached basketball for close to 30’years. I don’t see anything off the ball. Know nothing about rotations. I watch more basketball on Hudl alone than you probably see all year.

Not a huge Cmac fan but he earned his minutes tonight and played real well. I don't think he should close out every game though.
I don't think CMac should really ever play honsetly but when he does, it should be exactly what he did tongiht.
There is both physical and mental toughness. CMac is tough enough to guard interior players bigger than him. His mental toughness is the best on the team.
Mental toughness would require you to not bitch to the ref every single call. Either during live play or dead ball.

You can say a lot of things about CMac’s game, but you can’t question his toughness and his willingness to go in and do the little things. That was a really big play.
