It's a bad roster. Guys with the same holes in their games who lack athleticism to play on both ends. Put a hand in their face or a guy in their space defensively and they panic. It's OK to have a couple of these guys as reserves but other than Rebraca, Kris and Connor (this year) I am not sure if there is anyone else who shouldn't be playing at the mid-major level. Ulis and Sandfort hit the side of the backboard on wide open 3 pointers but Fran wants guys to keep firing. Am I remembering correctly that Iowa had 8 points with around 6 minutes left in the first half?

Below average. Average gets you at least 1 sweet 16 in 13 years .

To be fair, I think he’s an average offensive coach , despite our recent performance. However, he’s an absolute dog shit defensive coach.

Exactly the same stupidity regarding the football coach and his son. Dump the Ferentz Family and Iowa football is doomed. It's as if people forget Iowa had pretty good football and basketball programs long before anyone heard of Ferentz or McCaffrey.

KF would have been fired at least three times by now in almost any other football program in America. And Fran . . . Thanks for not being Lickliter, but time is up.

I’ve always wondered what some of the players think of the McCaffrey boys. I’ve also wondered how it’s impacted recruiting.

It’s obvious both were highly overrated in high school.

Fran didn't recruit a PG for 2-3 years leading up to Connor's arrival to be able to play him as a freshman.

IMO it has destroyed team chemistry and it will only get worse until McCafferys are gone. Players are not blind and stupid they see the same things fans do on the floor.
