I wouldn't exactly say Kirk is always hype. Hype does not win big championships and coach of the year awards, Kirk has won both. Try again. Are the Hawkeyes underachieving, yes sir, but "HYPE".

Yep Dez needed to cover Carr all game! Parker is just as stubborn as Kirk. The O line, D Line, and Safeties are just not performing mostly due to the coaches being unimaginative. Hell I don't think I've seen the line stunt once on an obvious pass situation.

Sorry, but we could have Troy Polamalu, Ronnie Lott, Mel Blount, and Deion Sanders patrolling the secondary and they'd still get burned with our utterly impotent pass rush, and egregiously horrid gap control by the DL.
