Don't think our line can keep anyone off of him long enough for a deep routeI'm no expert, but maybe the coaches just don't trust the arms in the QB room

BI think Lester called a good game today. Obviously it helps when the offense just works more often than not. I'm going to give him a B+ and extra credit for the Sullivan red zone packages.
I don’t think that any Iowa OC can be ranked until KF is gone. KF has his grips on every possession. Iowa OC under KF has to be the worst jobs in America . If you have Iowa or Ferentz on your offensive resume, your next job will be defensive coordinator at a local HS.I think Lester called a good game today. I woukd call it coaching.Kirk has coached any risk out of our QBs
Cade did play pretty well yesterday. He did split McCann's time with Banks in 2001, and did it again much later with Christensen and Stanzi. But to your point I can't recall him specifically allowing a QB to be put in for red zone or goal-line purposes. Sucks it apparently took red zone woes last week to bring about that change, but hopefully this was a wake-up call and Sullivan will see the field much more in upcoming games.
When did Nate Stanley graduate? That's the last time you saw that throw. What I wouldn't give to see a 20-yd slant over the Middle with the ball thrown on the money. Can't remember the last time I saw that.
We really do have to go all the way back to McCann/Banks in Brad's junior year for situational QB use. Even then it was more a package of plays for Brad to run the entire possession. So that move yesterday hasn't been seen at Iowa since before the class of 2024 was born.He did split McCann's time with Banks in 2001, and did it again much later with Christensen and Stanzi.
