Your thoughts on Trump wanting Ukraine/Zelensky out of the peace talks, at least early peace talks?

I have never heard of cease fire or peace talks between two parties/states etc not being held by both of those parties at least.

Only with Orange man in charge does he have to try to take control. I really hope the Ukrainians give the big middle finger to trump and putin if it comes to that.

I hope Europe comes to Ukraine's rescue with increased military spending and weapons for Ukraine.

If it comes to it since Russia has invited North Korean Regulars into the fight that some other countries will feel they can put troops and vast weapons on the ground there.

Donald Trump is a nepo baby. If his dad hadn't bought him a high school diploma, and a degree from Penn, then set him up in business, and top that off by leaving him hundreds of millions of dollars he'd be living under a bridge. Or, be in prison. He reads and writes at a 4th grade level, and is controlled by an insatiable desire to garner attention, and to be considered a success. He will sell out Ukraine, declare his deal to be the biggest peace deal ever, then walk away from the mess.
Of course you cannot hold peace talks without the country that was invaded.

Trump did the same thing with the Afghan government when they negotiated the deal with the taliban…cut them out entirely. Was a major factor in why they collapsed so quickly.

Peace talks, if they involve the US at all, should definitely include Russia and Ukraine reps at a minimum. Excluding one is weird
