Hate to see injury's take kids out. Vito, Desanto, Carr and O'Toole and some very big names that will not be in.
Some brackets are still crazy but with Starrocci bumping up 74 kilos is losing 3 studs.

Well then, it's obvious why KOT dropped out; JB would've been targeting his bad knee.
RIGHTLY so!
When Gable won his Gold Medal, he had a bad knee and stated it was to his advantage to have the Russian attack his bad knee because it left his good one to balance on.
Why attack the bad knee? Spencer stated one of the wrestling positions he felt most vulnerable in, was having to hop on the bad knee if someone got in on a single and he was on one leg.
Burroughs must have a different strategy since he stated he’d go after the bad knee?

Think deeper. The strategy isn’t to just straight forward attack the knee. It is to put him in compromising positions and situations that maximize and expose the weakness in that knee. A big part of that would be forcing his movement and most of his weight to that leg and THEN attacking it. This can also force an injured wrestler to get out of position if he tries too hard to avoid that type of movement and/or stance.

Making it simple, JB is a VERY cerebral wrestler. I am sure he has already worked out plenty of strategies when wrestling against injuries. That is no different than strategies that go after weaknesses while using your strengths…

Well, maybe that’s his targeting strategy. Attack the bad knee by forcing him to hop around on it?
