I watched on my Roku box today. I'm not sure how Amazon Firestick TV works, but on a Roku you just download the WatchESPN app and it's there. Can't remember if you have to sign in using cable information or not as I've had it connected for a while.

It depends on your providers. If I'm at home, my internet provider comes with espn3 so I don't have to log-in when I'm there but when I'm at work I have to log in with my cable provider.
