Real always wrestles not to lose. He never tries to just win.
Hardy beats Woods 7-6. First time he beats him.
Not sure I agree here. He just burned alot of energy while trying...but failing...ti complete a couple takedowns. Good effort, just couldn't finish.
He did…and it was dumb as hell to challenge that.
EDIT:not sure if that was our last challenge
If Ayala loses, we fall behind ISU and MAYBE ASU.
6th place and the whole staff should walk home.

As much as I hate it, you have to give major props to Kasak. Losing in the first round and wrestling all the way back for third place and racking up bonus points along the way is very impressive. Especially for a 'backup' true frosh 😢
Caliendo gets a TD to cut the lead to 10-5. Cuts riding time under a minute and lets him go. 11-5. End of 2. Mikey goes neutral.
Or... Ayala wins, and we finish ahead of them.
If Yonger didn't bomb out, ISU had a legit shot at 2nd. Great tournament for them.
I'll give zero props to Penn State wrestlers (or Cael) and I'll thank each and every one of you for doing the same.
KOT looked out of gas at the end. Mikey represented himself real well in that loss. 4th place in this weight class is a good accomplishment
Really nice tournament from Caliendo. He, Drake, and Teske are the three I felt wrestled to their best this weekend.
Need Buchanan to keep this lead over Cardenas of Cornell. He’s up 5-1.
So far...8 out of 8 Hawks have lost their last match in this tourney.

absolutely. i was thinking about teske earlier. we were down when he lost to frost and van dee early in the season but both guys ended up being hammers. they all wrestled their tail off this tournament
And Vito has to lose, correct?
Regardless of this result, assuming no bonus for Cornell, we need Ayala to win and Vito to lose. Right? Math?
