He could go to Iowa Western or Coe, t sit out then join any team he wanted to.Any chance he would look at ISU so transferring would create no issues?
Truly, this site can be very bipolar...If he's coming to Iowa...that's awesome! WRs looking at least decent for next year.
If he's not coming.... no big deal, the traitor probably wouldn't contribute anyway.
wow. taking a kids decision personally. what a good look on you!Fck him, don't want him. he had his chance, be gone.
Had a friend call just now and say KCJJ is reporting he is exploring the option of coming back to Iowa. I assume they have sources beyond this board.
Yeah good call...it's not like he has the top 3 all time receptions leaders during his era...oh wait I guess he does...
Well maybe so but at least he doesn't have the top 3 for a season....oooppss wrong again.
Well yards that's where it's at he doesn't have....oh shoot I guess he does have the top 2.
Well how about for a season....hmmm #1 and 3 of top 5, who knew...
Looks like another one of those fans without perspective moments...interesting!!!

The only NFL receivers to play in league under kirk were hayden recruits in Kasper and Hill if i recall (since all the kirk worshipers put such a premium on NFL) McNutt was drafted but hes super slow by nfl standards so didnt last.
You are delusional if you are trying to say we've had good receiving corps consistently over the years or anywhere close. Or just an epic homer.
Kirk has had five of his receivers actually play in an NFL game. Kasper, Hill and Yamini all were inherited from Hayden, McNutt and Tevaun Smith were from his own 19 years of recruiting. Only Kasper ever caught a pass though and he was a walk on originally.
Impressive tradition.
Ummm...not quite. We said there is a rumor out there that we have seen on the Michigan sites, this site and Twitter. I have no substantiation whatsover of Martin exploring his options. I would love him to transfer to Iowa but have no inside info.
Yes, and Jay Cutler is the Bears all time passing leader....impressive reasoning! I should have added the word consistently to my post but none of those guys (that were here for a few yrs) had much of a chance of ever playing at next level and its our AWFUL history with receivers that make them "all time greats".....only at Iowa.

I didn't want to knock Kirk in that regards, obviously he's put about ten tight ends in the NFL (including two he also inherited from Hayden in Flemister and Wheatley), but when folks say the cupboard was bare when he arrived it sounds so stupid trying to compare that to what Hayden inherited when he took over.
I hope you are right but.. didn't Douglas, Cleveland, djk all come in the same class.. that may have been the most talented group of wrsI think ISM, Smith, and Cooper have the potential to be our best WR class in many years or possibly ever. Their main adversary, stats wise, is a potentially historic TE duo and very talented backs.
I've never been more excited about our pass game potential. The key is everyone getting better, which hasn't always happened at QB & WR for some reason.
Michigan had 2 freshman wr's play in today's game and OM wasn't one of those playing.
I think these 3 have more talent, but I meant best WR class in the context of overall production As long as all 3 stay, shouldn't have too much trouble.I hope you are right but.. didn't Douglas, Cleveland, djk all come in the same class.. that may have been the most talented group of wrs
Very true.Until UM gets a real QB, who their WRs are is pretty irrelevant.
Ok, he red shirted. Looks like plenty of competition ahead of him.
ISM needs to become more reliable in catching and not fumbling.I think ISM, Smith, and Cooper have the potential to be our best WR class in many years or possibly ever. Their main adversary, stats wise, is a potentially historic TE duo and very talented backs.

You guys, he redshirted.
So after he sits a year he will have 3 left?
Unlike Cardale Jones at tOSU, maybe Martin ain't there to play football, maybe he's there to play school.Martin isn’t leaving Michigan. It’s been confirmed.
