You could definitely see it already last season. Was he out with an injury for the Purdue and NW games last season?
Yes definitely for Purdue, we win that game IMO with him...and of course the RZ fumble....You could definitely see it already last season. Was he out with an injury for the Purdue and NW games last season?
Better than Greenway? Sign me up!I think he leaves IC as KF's best LB if he stays healthy, and has a solid DL.
Pretty impressive if it happens.
You beat me to it. Lambert also played in Black and Gold for the NFL champs Pittsburgh Stealers. He was 6-4/5 around 240/245. Campbell 6-4/5 around 245. Lambert ran 4.7 40. Don't know Jacks 40, but he looks plenty fast. Nice comp. 😎❤️He reminds me of Jack Lambert, but with all of his teeth. He just always seems to end up at the ball.
And he has the size and length those two didn’t. If he’s the type of gamer those two are/were he could be unreal.Last year I thought he had that Josie Jewell, Pat Angerer look. Tough, fast, smart - always around the ball.
The defense always seems to be great when the guy in the middle is a stud.
Ok. I’m ready for Iowa football.Friend of mine who just retired as the head coach at Ames after many years said Campbell is the best high school player he’s ever coached against.
how about no linebacker covers him with game on the line..BF would do well to keep his opinion to himself until we’ve ascertained how well Jack does when asked to cover david bell one-on-one with the game on the line.
Not to quibble, but Lambert was barely 220. Different era.You beat me to it. Lambert also played in Black and Gold for the NFL champs Pittsburgh Stealers. He was 6-4/5 around 240/245. Campbell 6-4/5 around 245. Lambert ran 4.7 40. Don't know Jacks 40, but he looks plenty fast. Nice comp. 😎❤️
Heard Lambert interviewed on SIRIUS NFL a few years ago. He said he came in as a rookie around 210 and finished the year around 190. He joked that his weight was never truthfully listed on the Steelers roster. Also said his mid season most years was around 200 and he got bigger the last couple of seasons, up to around 215 and he blamed that on old age.Not to quibble, but Lambert was barely 220. Different era.
In the state championship game he sure looked like he was on another level to me.Friend of mine who just retired as the head coach at Ames after many years said Campbell is the best high school player he’s ever coached against.
You are correct. Steelers had him listed at 6-4 218. Jack has him by 25. 😎❤️🏈Not to quibble, but Lambert was barely 220. Different era.
Mr. Lambert was like 215 to 220.You beat me to it. Lambert also played in Black and Gold for the NFL champs Pittsburgh Stealers. He was 6-4/5 around 240/245. Campbell 6-4/5 around 245. Lambert ran 4.7 40. Don't know Jacks 40, but he looks plenty fast. Nice comp. 😎❤️

How about that game just never gets to “on the line” status?how about no linebacker covers him with game on the line..
Jack Lambert was only around 220 lbs when he played…You beat me to it. Lambert also played in Black and Gold for the NFL champs Pittsburgh Stealers. He was 6-4/5 around 240/245. Campbell 6-4/5 around 245. Lambert ran 4.7 40. Don't know Jacks 40, but he looks plenty fast. Nice comp. 😎❤️
Who?Cloneholes say Mike Rose is best linebacker in college football.
They thought Lanning was the best too until he had to cover a certain RB 1 on 1...Cloneholes say Mike Rose is best linebacker in college football.
@QChawks invented the phrase “3.5 inches of fun”.Really? That’s it?
